RYA First aid Course joining information:
Course timings: 09:30 - 17:00
Meeting place: Unit B3, Romany Works Business Park, Poole BH16 6JL

- Lunch, Drinks, Snacks (*Pls note there are no food vendors onsite)
What we provide:
- An experienced RYA First Aid Instructor
- First Aid Manual & Certificate (assuming successful completion)
- All teaching equipment including CPR manikins
- RYA First Aid Certificate (assuming successful completion)
- Tea & Coffee

*If your course is taking place on a SUNDAY please note that the main security gates will be locked on your arrival (card access only) - please call our work mobile on 07557 780738 if you arrive early so your instructor can walk down to open the gate for you.
All other days the gates will be open from 8am.
COURSE OVERVIEW / WHAT'S INVOLVED:
- Recovery Position
- CPR, including drowning
- Head Injuries
- Controlling Bleeding
- Shock
- Hypothermia from immersion and / or exposure
- Seasickness and dehydration
- Summoning Medical Assistance or Advice by VHF
- Helicopter Rescue Procedures
