With over 20 years in the powerboat industry and over 10 years running training courses onboard Superyachts around the world; our instructors are some of the best; they not only hold their RYA Advanced powerboat instructor certificate, MCA Advanced Powerboat commercial endorsement but they are also RYA Powerboat instructor trainers, which basically means they couldn't be more qualified for the job!
Whether your tender is 5m or 15m, regardless of engine type or how many engines; fly by wire, joystick or traditional throttle systems we pretty much have had experience across the whole spectrum!
We've spent a lot of time considering the most common type of tenders we have come across on Superyachts (aside to rescue tenders) and more often than not they tend to be in the +6m range and often hard, sports boats.
On this basis, unlike most other training centres that use RIBs we've intentionally chosen a school boat for RYA Powerboat Level 2 courses to suit the requirements of Superyacht crew to best prepare them for their role onboard, offering experience of handling a larger boat with twin engines.
