RYA Tender Operator Course, poole
The RYA Tender Operator Course provides the skills necessary to helm and manage a tender carrying passengers/guests/crew in daylight and darkness to and from the Yacht/mother ship. Created by the RYA in combination with the PYA (Professional Yachtsman Association) to focus on Superyacht Crew transferring guests.
Minimum age: 17
Duration: 2 days & 1 evening
Prior knowledge: Candidates should be competent to the standard of the RYA Powerboat level 2 course (coastal). It is strongly recommended that candidates hold a first aid and VHF/SRC operators certificate
* PLEASE NOTE: This course is only offered between 1st Oct - 31st March due to late sunset hours at other times of year.
