This assessment is a pre-entry requirement for the RYA Powerboat Instructor course and includes the opportunity to brush up on your personal powerboat handling skills. A high standard of driving, seamanship and personal knowledge is required - all to the ability of Powerboat Level 2.
We know its not always easy to jump into a new boat and that you may be a little rusty in your RYA powerboat handling skills, so we offer the option to complete a 0.5 day refresher session + 0.5 day skills assessment; or if you're confident of your skills then you can choose to opt to head straight onto the 0.5 day skills assessment.
