Passwords can be reset on the login page. Just click on the 'forgotton your username or password link on the login page and follow the on screen instructions. If for any reason you are still unable to reset your password then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can reset it for you.
You must be logged into RYA interactive and online (not working remotely) in order for the system to log the completion of your training modules and the results of your pre-exam knowledge check/test. If you're still having issues you may need to complete the pre-exam knowledge check/test again (whilst online), the system will then reset and issue you your completion certificate.
Mac unable to install the course
Some Macs running OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) are unable to install the course. Consider updating to the Mavericks operating system (this is a free of charge update). Note: you must decide whether to update your computer as it may affect other applications already installed.
Mac unable to play videos
There are three videos in the course. If you are using a Mac & can only hear the audio but not see the visuals you should try:
1 Check for any updates available for your operating system. If so, install the update and restart the computer if prompted. Try the videos.
2 Uninstall the course, restart the computer then reinstall the course. Try the videos.
3 Consider updating to the Mavericks operating system (this is a free of charge update).

Windows won’t allow the course to close
Some Windows computers (usually Windows 8) show an error message when you try to close the course and will relaunch it automatically. Keep trying and it will close eventually.
