RYA Teaching in the classroom (TIC) Course

What's the purpose of the course?

To give you the skills to teach in a classroom environment, whether you've never taught before or already have some experience teaching in a classroom this course will aid you to offer constructive and effective classroom delivery. Your Trainer is there to share ideas, offer constructive feedback and development points to ensure you are best prepared for your future classroom teaching.

Who's the course for?

This course is a compulsory pre-requisite to those wishing to attend the following courses:

RYA First Aid Instructor
RYA Marine Radio SRC (VHF) Assessor
RYA Radar Instructor
RYA Shorebased Navigation Instructor

Successful candidates will then be in a position to sign up for the shorebased instructor course of their choice.
