Here's your opportunity! Having had a number of current instructors ask us for the chance to learn how to drive a twin-engine boat and whatsmore a 'hard boat' rather than a RIB to gain confidence and improve their skill set, we thought it was a good idea to offer this.
The training is a completely 'no-pressure' environment, we are simply here to give you the opportunity and experience to handle a twin-engine 'hard boat' and have some input from an RYA Powerboat Trainer.
What You Will Learn
If you have something specific in mind then we can tailor the training to suit your individual requirements, normally the items that are of most use and concern to most are:
- Holding off / effect of wind on the bow (very significant on a boat of this type/size)
- Turning in a confined space
- Coming alongside and berthing
- Techniques to teach your students how to drive this sort of boat
